Apply Now: Workshop on DNP-Enhanced MAS ssNMR at NHMFL
The NIH-funded RM1 project, National Resource for Advanced NMR Technology, is sponsoring an intensive, hands-on workshop on DNP-enhanced MAS ssNMR. The workshop will take place August 25–28, 2025, at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) in Tallahassee, Florida.
This four-day program will provide:
- An overview of Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) theory
- Practical instruction in ssNMR spectroscopy, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR), and DNP techniques
- Coverage of DNP instrumentation and sample preparation strategies
- Hands-on lab sessions using:
- A 600 MHz MAS-DNP instrument
- A benchtop X-band EPR system
- Sample preparation and DNP data collection workflows
The workshop is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers interested in applying MAS-DNP methods in their research. Staff scientists and professors are also welcome to apply.
Space is limited to 7 participants. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging.
For more details or questions, please contact Heather Barnes (hbarnes@magnet.fsu.edu). To apply, please send a CV to Heather Barnes along with a short statement of how the workshop will benefit your research. Applications are due on Friday, June 13.
