Dear Magnetic Resonance Colleagues:
We are excited to announce that the 51st Southeastern Magnetic Resonance Conference (SEMRC) will be held in-person in Durham, NC on October 25-27, 2023.
This year we teamed up with the organizers of the 2023 Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS-2023) to host the SEMRC as a Symposium of the SERMACS-2023. SERMACS 2023 is organized by the North Carolina Section of the American Chemical Society (NCACS) and will be held from Wednesday to Saturday, October 25-28, 2023, at the Durham Convention Center, Durham, NC. A block of rooms has been reserved at DURHAM MARRIOTT CITY CENTER at a rate of $205 per night. For information on parking and travel discount codes for car rental companies (Avis, Budget, Hertz) and airlines (Delta and United), please see sermacs2023.org/hotel-travel/.
The Southeastern Magnetic Resonance Conference has a long tradition of bringing together leading researchers primarily from the Southeastern region to discuss the latest developments in NMR, EPR and MRI, exchanges new ideas and the most recent developments in magnetic resonance including new applications and technique development. SEMRC is also committed to providing young researchers with opportunities to present their work and network. The format of the SEMRC-2023 as a part of the SERMACS meeting will provide additional opportunities to attend other sessions of SERMACS covering all disciplines of chemistry.
Please note that the joint SEMRC+SERMACS program brings in some changes to the traditional SEMRC format. Specifically, the SEMRC sessions will start in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, and (tentatively) end by noon of Friday, October 27, 2023.
