A message to our MagLab Facility users
Update: March 24, 2020: Alachua County has issued a stay-at-home order to reduce the possible spread of COVID-19 in our area. The AMRIS Facility at UF-Gainesville is therefore now restricted for access, unless you have received prior approval as essential staff or a mission-critical researcher and you also possess a valid Gator1 card allowing MBI building access. Limited AMRIS research projects may still be able to continue remotely, as we will continue minimal staff access to maintain our magnets. If you are submitting a magnet reservation request, please understand that it may be declined if the work cannot be completed in a manner that complies with the current campus policies.

The University of Florida campus is following statewide guidance to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, COVID-19. At this time, the AMRIS Facility remains open for your research projects, but social-distancing behavior is encouraged. We are increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting the commonly touched objects and surfaces, but please help us by doing your part to stay healthy. We request that you follow CDC guidelines by washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, please use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Please stay home if you are sick or if you recently (last 14 days) visited an area where COVID-19 is spreading. Because this is a fluid situation, you may view the latest announcements regarding University of Florida campus at http://www.ufl.edu/health-updates, and track the daily Florida Department of Health conditions and advice at http://www.floridahealth.gov/diseases-and-conditions/COVID-19/index.html.
